Inner Confidence, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we protect it, and what choices you have. It applies to innerconfidence.com, our member area, our private community, our podcast and email list, and our coaching programs and events.

WHAT WE COLLECT Information you give us directly:

  • Contact and account details: your name, email address, phone number, and member area login

  • Billing information: your billing name and address and a record of what you purchased and when. We do not collect or store your full card number, expiration date, or security code. Card details go directly to our payment processor and we never see or hold them

  • Application and call information: what you tell us on an application form, a discovery call, or a coaching call, including your goals, circumstances, and history as you choose to describe them

  • Community contributions: what you post in our private community, including messages, photographs, and profile details

  • Correspondence: emails, texts, and messages you send us Collected automatically when you visit our website: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and similar analytics data, through cookies and similar technologies.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION YOU SHARE WITH US Coaching only works when you can be honest, and clients tell us personal things about their relationships, their confidence, and their private lives. We treat that as confidential:

  • We do not share the details of your situation with anyone outside our coaching team, except where you ask us to, where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to prevent serious harm to you or someone else

  • We do not use your name, your likeness, or the specific details of your situation in any marketing material without your separate written permission. Where we discuss client situations publicly, for example on the podcast, we do so only with permission or in a form that cannot be traced to any individual

  • We do not record one-on-one coaching calls without your consent. Where a call is recorded, the recording is used for your benefit and for coach training only

  • Anything you post in our private community is visible to other members, so use your judgment about what you share and respect other members' privacy in return

HOW WE USE IT To deliver the coaching, community access, and materials you purchased; to process payments and keep transaction records; to schedule and run your calls; to answer your questions and provide support; to email you about your purchase, program, and account; to send newsletters, podcast updates, and marketing emails where you have opted in; to understand how our website is used; and to detect fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every one. We will still send you emails about an active purchase.

HOW WE SHARE IT We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it. These currently include Squarespace, which hosts our website and member area; Stripe, PayJunction & Merchant e-Solutions, which handle payments and receive card details directly; Discord, which hosts our private community; Calendly, which handles call scheduling; Google Analytics, for website analytics; Google Workspace, which we use for email; and Kit, which manages our email list and sends our newsletters. Each has its own privacy policy and is bound to use your information only to provide their service to us. Sites we link to have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property or those of our members or the public. If our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner, who remains bound by this policy.

COOKIES AND TRACKING We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how our website is used, including through Google Analytics. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

HOW WE PROTECT IT Our website uses TLS encryption. Personal information is accessible only to the small number of people who need it, each of whom is required to keep it confidential. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take security seriously we cannot guarantee it absolutely.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT We keep your information while you are a client and afterwards for as long as we need it to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, generally seven years for financial records. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, except where the law requires us to keep it.

YOUR RIGHTS You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold and how we use it, correct information that is wrong or out of date, delete your personal information subject to records we must keep by law, or stop sending you marketing. Email info@innerconfidence.com to make any of these requests. We respond within 45 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. California residents have additional rights under California law, including those described above. We do not sell or share personal information. If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If there is a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

CHILDREN Our Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our programs are not offered to anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
