How to Read Women's Signals (The Button Theory Explained)
Falling in love isn't serendipitous. It's technical. The men who figure that out stop leaving things to chance.
Never mind what magazines and newspapers have said about falling in love being a chance, serendipitous meeting of the minds. They only write that because it glamorizes the whole process. It’s a lot more technical and predictable than that. Google Analytics is a great way of looking at it, because they see in real time how people respond and what they like.
Analyzing What Works and What Doesn’t

Say you put up an ad on Google Analytics. You use Google Adwords to help market whatever product you’re selling.
To get people to buy your product, you put up a big green button. That works pretty well, and 20 people buy your product.
Next, you decide to play with things a little and see how putting up a small green button would work. That goes even better, and 50 pieces of your product are sold.
Curious, you fiddle around some more and change the small button from green to blue, and even more of your product is sold.
Not content to be satisfied with the results, you make the small blue button big.
Uh-oh, your purchases go down by 20.
So, you’ve discovered that people like the small blue button the best. The next product you sell, you’re going to use a small blue button because people have, so far, responded the most positively to it.
It’s Like Playing With Buttons
Figuring out girls is like playing with the buttons. You try something brand new with a girl – setting things up with a large green button – and gauge her response. If it’s not so good, or you want to see if something will work better, you try another tactic. You make the big green button smaller.
Obviously, a girl is not going to make it as easy as Google Analytics to see how your moves are received, but there are other ways of checking.
Is she checking her phone more?
Has she gone quiet?
Turned her body away from you?
If she has, it might be time to change the little green button to a blue one and see how that goes. If changing the color of the button works, you can tell if her eyes light up, she’s playing with her hair, her body is more angled towards yours, smiling a lot, or touching you frequently. These are very good signs, and the equivalent of your product being sold twice as much. Stick with that, and ride it to the end.

ASSESSMENT
Post-analysis or being the Monday morning quarterback is VERY important. Whether it’s with girls, a business meeting, or anything in life – there is a cause and effect. What did you “cause” to get that “effect”? What X did you do to get the Y? Next time instead of X, try W and see what result you get instead. Always be testing different things and you’ll start seeing patterns on the optimal play.
Recall the last time you had an undesirable EFFECT. Maybe it was during a date with a girl. What event occurred that you did not like?
Now think about what were the potential CAUSES that led to that EFFECT. What happened prior to that EFFECT that may have CAUSED that outcome?
Next time, what can you do differently instead to CAUSE a different EFFECT? What are three options you can apply next time to potentially influence a different result. Because after all, that situation will more than likely surface again in the future and you want to be ready to do things differently if you want a different result.
